Mini Bio
Markus Lappalainen is a Finnish composer for film, television, and narrative media, known for crafting thematic scores that resonate beyond the screen. His versatile style spans orchestral, electronic, jazz-adjacent, ambient, and experimental forms, always rooted in deep concepts and narrative storytelling.
He has contributed to La Palma (Netflix), Troll, and the upcoming Troll 2 with Johannes Ringen, collaborated with Marcus Paus, and scored short films including Vennligst Vent (2020) and Trauma (2017).
Beyond screen music, Markus leads the band Soulcrux and, in his free time, channels his love of storytelling as a Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons.
Every piece Markus writes is crafted to linger — the kind of music that echoes long after the final scene.
